Biography

Christi Hobaugh is a compassionate and client-centered Licensed Professional Counselor with 18 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Grounded in evidence-based practices and a deep respect for each client’s journey, Christi specializes in helping adults, children, and adolescents navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and relationship issues. Christi also has passion for clients diagnosed with Autism and Borderline Personality Disorder. Christi has experience working with children and adolescents in residential settings, acute psychiatric and intensive in-home. Christi earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications 2003 from Indiana University and earned her Master’s of Arts from Regent University in 2007. 

Christi’s approach is designed to match each individual client and uses aspects of modalities such as Eye Movement Integration (EMI) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches, Christi works collaboratively with clients to foster resilience, emotional balance, and personal growth. Whether guiding clients through major life transitions or helping them find hope while dealing with mental health issues, Christi creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and change can occur.
