Vinessa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has earned her Master's in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a therapist, Vinessa specializes in a holistic view of treatment, recognizing the person first, and seeks to help clients understand the connection between their past experiences and their social, psychological, behavioral, and cognitive functioning. With this approach, Vinessa is able to guide her clients as they uncover the underlying causes of their issues by helping them identify and process unresolved past traumas. Vinessa seeks to support, guide, and empower her clients as they find the efficacy to make changes in their lives and regain control over pain, trauma, addiction, and mental health struggles.
